GE Major Component Exchange - Western Europe
Description:
We are looking for skilled technicians to join our teams performing Major Component Exchange (MCE) operations on GE wind turbines in Spain, Germany, Sweden, Finland and Lithuania. This role involves handling key turbine components and ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient replacement processes on site.
Your duties will include:
• Execute Major Component Exchange tasks, including removal and installation of gearboxes, generators, and other critical components
• Verify that all safety protocols are followed and maintain high-quality workmanship
• Collaborate with crane operators and lifting teams to ensure precise and safe handling of heavy components
• Maintain and organize tools, lifting equipment, and personal protective gear
• Participate in company and turbine-specific training sessions
• Report any safety or operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Proven experience working on GE wind turbines
• Hands-on experience with Major Component Exchange (MCE) operations is a great advantage

• Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related field
• Sufficient English communication skills
• Comfortable working at height and in outdoor conditions
• Flexible, team-oriented, and respectful of multicultural work environments
• Willingness to travel and work internationally
• Clean driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
